Bono....He is my brother.
I wish I knew more about posting stuff. I mean I wish I had the time and patience to learn how to post pictures and links to improve the look of my blog page and posts.
Anyway I just wanted to copy my comments here I made on a great post on this blog about Bono. I have noticed that many bloggers who are Christian leaders and some who are teaching in seminary schools just can't seem to let people like Bono who follow Christ off the hook without tearing down something they have said that they think don't line up with what they think he should say.
Its a shame there are many Christian leaders that have to nitpick things Bono says publicly. Are they so scared that the will of God will be thwarted if Bono doesn't "say" something exactly "right" and its up to them(being they know the law) to correct it so that the will of God is saved from being thwarted?
I'm not sure but doesn't it say somewhere about they will know us by our love for one another? Does love do this to a brother, especially one that they only see & read about and don't know personally?
Of course the scribes nitpicked Jesus also. I am in no way saying Bono is Jesus, God forbid, but a casual reading of John chapter 7 looks an awful lot like there is nothing new under the sun.
I would name the blogs or articles I am referring to. But anyone who wants to find this out can. I don't want to be unloving toward them by posting their names here and thereby continuing in their same folly.

I like Bono too. I didn't know other Christians were ashing him. Ignorance is bliss :~)
I like your comments on the blogs I read.
About links:
Go to dashboard, then to your blog then to the template tab.
Scroll down that huge document until your near the bottom. Look for the phrases 'Google News' and 'Edit-Me'. It will take some time to find.
Then look close at those lines of typing. Notice that each has sidewards Vs on each end of a long line, then a word, then another very short bit of typing surrounded by more sidewards Vs. Inside the first set it say h ref= that means Hyper Reference.
Inside the sidewards Vs, you need to just delete what is inside the "quote marks" (http://www. etc.etc.) then copy whatever Web address you want to link to on your page inside those very same quote marks "http://blah blah blah..."
Then just put a title for the link in. However you want it to read on your page, type it between the sidewards V and the next set, which is around the weird /a
all that /a means it is ending the link. So put the name right before you end the link.
Study the ones that say Google News and Edit me!!!
G'luck!
I mean
Good Providence!

Thanks Jodie,
I have been checking in your blog as well. I haven't commented though. I figure I would leave space for brotha evanmay right now he seems to need plenty of it.
I really liked the carville & alice in wonderland piece. Thats really clever.

Hello Kris, Just read you comment on my blog. I only have a minute but wanted to say I apprciate the word. Sounds like we need to talk some time. We probably have a lot in common. I enjoyed your piece on Bono. I haven't kept up with him a lot but have a hight respect for his work in Africa.
